Never.  I repeat.  NEVER buy an Alienware.  EVER.  OMFG.  NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER.

Did I make my point?  No?

Ok.  Here's what happened.  Everything that was typed here was done in the second to last hold that the retard put me on.  JUST THAT HOLD.  I was put on at least 20.  AT LEAST.

I bought my Alienware computer with a 4 year warrenty.

I spent 4 hours on the phone with their technical support guy, who couldn't speak a word of English.

In those 4 hours, I was told to:

1) Remove my RAM (all 4 cards of it, which were in a very tight space)
2) Remove the sound card (which we later found out was impossible)
3) Remove a battery from the motherboard (which I later found out was impossible)
4) Remove a jumper from the motherboard

Number 4 was particularily fun to do... I had to remove it from points 1 and 2 and place it on points 2 and 3.  Yay.  Of course, the jumper is smaller than my pinky's fingernail, and it's sandwiched between the lower of my 2 video cards (with the SLI connection) and my soundcard.  (which is why I had to try to remove the sound card) After MULTIPLE tries, I finally got it on pegs 2 and 3.  Upon finishing the task from hell, I was told to put it BACK on pegs 1 and 2.  What the fuck did that accomplish?  I have cuts down my hand AND my arm because those cards are SHARP.  The geniouses at Alienware never thought that someone would want to take off the OTHER side of the case, so I was stuck having to reach through 8" of razor sharp prongs to get to a thing smaller than a sand flea.  Also, the space that it was sandwiched between was smaller than an inch and a half, which my hand can NOT fit through.  Way to go, Alienware; another happy customer.

There was a lot more fun... but I'm too lazy to write about it.

Cost of computer - $3,700
Cost of warrenty - $450
Cost of image DVD - $20 (why do they charge you for this?)
Cost of my brain cells, hours of my summer, and all of my work and portfolio ever completed - Priceless

This is where they will delete everything on my harddrive in a REFORMAT, which means I lose all progress I made in the TGE and in everything else.  All of my 3d AND 2d.  Everything.  Gone.

Just. Like. That.

"But what about the title", you ask.  Well, I had purchased about 40 singles from iTunes.  I'm not going to buy them BACK a second time (fuck you too, Apple), and thus, it promotes piracy.

And between each step, I was put on hold.  Goodie.  That accounts for 3 and a half of the 4 hours.  That time was most likely spent by him either: 1) Looking at porno.
2) Playing solitaire
3) Googling the terms I used or babelfishing my every sentence.

I'm allergic to dust (whoopie), so my entire body is covered in welts the size of baseballs, my nose is runny and itchy, and my eyes have gone beat red and the lids are nearly shut.

Of course. I didn't want anyone seeing what was on my harddrive... Um... For.... "reasons", but that's not a problem because THEY ARE DELETING EVERY FUCKING FILE OFF OF IT!

OK.  Well, as a small update (because I haven't submitted any art in over a month)... I've been working on improving my low-poly 3d modeling skills.  Especially organic modeling.  Next up:  Texturing.  ^^

I'm still here.
